Outside Bizgenics Foundation, he’s the author of Bizgenics Innovation Theory & Framework and guides several companies in which he maintains ownership interests. Myron Nakata, Secretary & Board Member
Myron is a co-founder of Lemonade Alley and co-owner of LeiHut.com, an online store of Hawaii products and shareholder of BizGym.com. Myron has decades of experience in a variety of businesses as an owner, investor and operator. He currently helps out with other non-profits including being the Chair for the Aloha Chapter of the National Eagle Scout Association, as well as a board member for the Boy Scouts, Hawaii Council for Economic Education and the Family Business Center of Hawaii.
Unyong is the Executive Director of Development for the UH Foundation – Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Unyong leads the Shidler Advancement Team that manages alumni relations, fundraising, communications, events, and stewardship. Through her partnership of 10 years with Dean Roley, they have raised nearly $255 million for the Shidler College of Business’ students, faculty, and programs; $228 million of that total to date is from namesake donor, Mr. Jay H. Shidler. Strategic program development, board management, alumni outreach, and donor-centric stewardship are among Unyong’s other strengths. The first in her family to attend College and with scholarship assistance no less, Unyong’s professional journey has great personal meaning.
Unyong was recognized in 2014 as Pacific Business News’ class of “Forty Under 40,” in 2015 as the “Outstanding Professional Fundraiser of the Year” by the AFP – Aloha Chapter, and in 2018 as Pacific Business News’ “Women Who Mean Business” Leader and Hawaii Business Magazine’s “20 for the next 20.” Unyong is proud to serve on the boards of the Bizgenics Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, the Young Professionals Program, and the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership.
Dennis Burns, Board Member
Dennis is a seasoned veteran of both TV and film production. While his shooting credits are long, he’s also a founder and owner of Pacific Focus (a video production firm), 1013 Integrated Branding (a creative agency) and Visitor Video (a hotel in-room channel that services over 24,000 hotel rooms in Hawai‘i). Dennis is also one of the founding fathers of Lemonade Alley, having bent here from the start to cover and promote the story through video storytelling.
Tim Caminos is a Hawaii based entrepreneur, CEO of of SuperGeeks and Co-Founder of RankHI, a full service digital marketing agency and LeiHut.com, an online store of Hawaii products. His background includes public relations, digital marketing and business development.
Louise K.Y. Ing is Director with Alston, Hunt, Floyd, and Ing. Her litigation and dispute resolution practice covers areas of law that impact businesses and business people on a daily basis, including contracts, commercial transactions, leases, employment, real estate, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy law, proprietary information, non-competition and confidentiality agreements and intellectual property. Louise has received numerous awards including Pacific Business News’ Women Who Mean Business Career Achievement Award in 2016 and Best Lawyers in America’s® 2015 Hawai‘i Lawyer of the Year for both Bankruptcy and Bet-the-Company Litigation. She active with a number of organizations in the state. She serves local nonprofits and business through her board of directors work with the University of Hawai`i Foundation, Child & Family Service, Hawaii State Bar Foundation and Island Holdings.
Alice is the founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Happiness University. She is an expert life guide, and author of six nationally award-winning books on life wisdom, self-growth and happiness. She has two columns, one in MidWeek titled “A Mindful Moment,” and and an award-winning column in the Sunday Star-Advertiser called “Go Ask Alice” that offers pertinent life guidance. Mark Loughridge, Advisory Member
Mark is a co-founder of Foundation 9 Entertainment (F9E), which grew to be the largest independent game developer in the world. During his 11+ years in growing this business, Mr. Loughridge oversaw the creative direction of the company, spearheaded new product development, and provided leadership on strategic planning. Mr. Loughridge sold his stake in 2006 and now invests in a variety of projects, with a particular interest in educational innovations and technologies that foster creativity.
Kaveh Abhari is committed to democratizing innovation, entrepreneurship and education through researching and developing social technologies. His current research is centered around modeling open innovation process, innovation platform affordances, and creative behavior in socially-enabled value networks. His recent applied projects focus on digital transformation and data-driven applications for social innovation, open entrepreneurship, and alternative education. Funded by research grants, he has developed different technologies and solutions including social learning platforms, dynamic entrepreneurship assessment models, and smart mentorship agents. He has also founded STEMD2 R&D Group to support STEM education in underserved communities and led federally-funded research projects in professional development, connectivist learning, and mathematics education. Dr. Abhari is an Assistant Professor of MIS at Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University. He has a Ph.D. in Communication & Information Sciences with interdisciplinary backgrounds in Business and Engineering.
Devin is the Director of Operations for Bizgenics Foundation and oversees all foundation programs, outlook and website developments. Along operations, he is the co-founder of EcoOpps.com – a division of Bizgenics Foundation that features annual initiatives to improve our ecology, starting with 2018’s “Billion Trees of Aloha.” Devin also has experience in writing grants and applications for various foundation enterprises. Devin holds a fundamental role with BizzyB.com as he co-constructed the evaluation models of the BizzyB.com – innovation-based learning platform. As a pastime, Devin switches gears to entrepreneurship with a passion to continuously engage in the development of new software and startups.
Kimee Balmilero, Program Director
Hawaii born actor Kimee Balmilero’s professional credits include: The 3X Emmy Nominated series “Hi-5,” the Original Broadway Cast of “Mamma Mia,” “Miss Saigon,” and “Hawaii Five-0.” While working in NYC and LA for 15+ years, she studied improv & sketch comedy at the famed Uprights Citizens Brigade Theatre in Hollywood. Since moving back to Hawaii in 2012, Kimee founded and is the “Head Sillypino” of improvhi a company and website dedicated to sketch and improv comedy in Hawaii. In March 2015, she created and produced the first ever Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Doris Duke Theater.

John is a veteran web technologist who has built huge sites right from the start of the Internet. He also sports a deep background in music, television and video production. He currently focused on helping businesses and individuals establish a solid, concise, secure and easily maintainable online presence by combining existing day-to-day business operations with simple & modular web publishing tools, e-commerce, social media, open source software, slick APIs, localization, scalable hosting and compassionate tech support.

Brannon is Bizgenics’ Historian, and Program Director of BizBuzz Lemonade Coffee, a referral and marketing program that raise funds for Bizgenics Foundation.
